You may not have considered it before, but God who made you wants to hear from you. He is seeking relationship with you at this very moment. Why?
You are a unique creature He values.
You have hidden abilities that his Spirit can unleash.
You have wounds that only He can mend.
From the beginning of recorded history, God has been actively communicating with people (see Genesis 2:15-16, Genesis 9:8-10) and he wants to continue the conversation with you.
What should you talk to him about?
Talking with God on a daily basis will keep your connection with him vibrant. You may want to look over David's shoulder to see how this ancient King of Israel talked to God, writing his thoughts down in the Psalms. Read Psalm 57:2, Psalm 63:1, Psalm 62:11-12 to get a taste of his conversations with God.
